Does God Know or Permit Evils: Sin, Sickness, and Death?

NO! Sin, sickness, and death are not our friends; they are our enemies. The Bible teaches that the last

enemy to be overcome is death. How in Jesus’s name did death come to be created or caused by God?

In Habakkuk, it states that His eyes are too pure to behold evil which is the biblical way of saying that God

has nothing to do with death. Our Lord said God is not the God of the dead but of the living. Jesus healed sickness and sin, conquered death, and invited us to follow Him. False theology must stop telling us that God calls home people through death. We might not be able to overcome death now, but we are still blessed if we die in the Lord; and we are confident that when Christ, who is our life, shall appear then shall we also appear with Him in glory; then shall we know ourselves as we are known-sons of God, deathless, pure and perfect as He is.

Christian Science teaches that sin, sickness, and death are unreal-not God-created. Sin brought death and Christ's truth takes it away. Death, then, is not the gateway to heaven; the way of the cross is. Jesus abolished death for all of us and shows us how to do it. Ms. Eddy tells us that we might not be able to overcome death now for we have not the power to demonstrate what we do not understand, but

eventually, we will, if we hold fast to the profession of our faith in life eternal.

Paul gave the recipe for overcoming death when he said ( Eph.5:14): Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. We all need a spiritual awakening, a practical spiritual understanding of who God is and our relationship to Him so that we may work out our salvation from sin and death step by step.
