What Is The True Basis Of Healing?

Our dear Leader,Mary Baker Eddy,tells us in Science and Health With Key To The Scriptures that the foundation of mortal discord is a false sense of man's origin; and our Saviour,Jesus Christ,demands that we call no man on earth our father.It is inconceivable that God,Spirit,infinite good,could create a man unlike Himself or give man something unlike His divine nature.He could not make man sinful, mortal ,and material.A perfect God could not create an imperfect man.This is illogical ,not possible.

Then where did this sinful ,mortal,material man come from? The truth is that what appears to be a man unlike God is not man but a misconception,a false sense of man.

In Isaiah chapter 2:22, we read:Cease ye from man ,whoose breath is in his nostrils;for wherein is he to be accounted of? In other words, stop believing that you are a mortal ,material man.Stop entertaining sinful ,evil thoughts for you are believing a lie about yourself and others.A lie that God condemns.Turn to your true nature as a child or a son of God.Know yourself even as you are known of God.

Be ye therefore perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect,says Jesus.You can do it because Christ is your Strength.It is in this striving to be perfect that healing takes place and the mortal sense of yourself is cast out or destroyed.
