What is Man?

Many people believe that man is material and finite, but Jesus taught and proved that man is not what he appears to be. God, Spirit, created man in His image and likeness. In other words, God created man like Himself: spiritual, perfect, and immortal. In Christian Science man is so understood.

However, as Jesus taught, we must be born again. We must do the will of God to realize our perfection and immortality. We must deny sin and give all glory and

praise to God. The so-called man we see with our eyes is not man but a counterfeit, a misconception of man. In Isaiah chapter 2:22 it reads: Cease ye from man whose

breath is in his nostrils for wherein is he to be accounted of.
